Premier Dalton McGuinty and Minister of Transportation Jim Bradley helped Go announce the launch of 12 new Double Decker buses during an event on March 20th, 2008.

A first for GO’s fleet, the double deckers can seat 78 people – 46 on the upper level and 32 on the lower level – offering 37 per cent more seating capacity than regular highway buses.

The VVC team put forth a great effort for this event - to "reveal" the new bus to the gathered audience - a 55' x 16' piece of revel cloth was needed, and staged just right so the Premier and honoured guests could pull it off, reveling what was hidden underneath.

This event also required strategic lighting placement, the special set up of the Go buses in the background, and special catering to the media in attendence, as it was a packed house!
